I need help with a similar problem. I'm learning CATIA and want to sketch and do som 3D modelling. What I'm searching for is the X-Y-Z plane "star" in the middle where I can chose the sketch plane. 2010-08-20 I’m sure that almost all of us are not using the right commands to simply the work in CATIA. For me it’s important to find commands that save time, because I work with large assemblies and I must hide and show parts, create lines, point, curves, planes etc. and it’s important to find a way to apply a command and this command to do more than one simple hide of one point for example.

planes and axis. Selection of more than one parameter must be done with boolean operator "OR".

We are going to simplify the CATIA sketch plane by hiding the portion of the material that is not needed for sketching, providing better visibility on the cross section.

As you become more familiar with CATIA you will hopefully obtain Select Axis, right click, and select Hide/Show. 1.
